Footage of an RAF Harrier laden with external fuel and bombs crashing in Kandahar Afghanistan in 2009. Engine failure caused the jet to slam into the runway, smashing the landing gear and skidding to a halt before burning. The injured pilot did not eject untill the last minute to ensure he did not hit a civillian aircraft.
